Highrise

I'm always drawn to practical  flats, booties and more wearable footwear choices when given the option. Lately I've been feeling less than excited when getting ready to go our for a night out on the town and I'm realizing that all of my footwear options are better suited for an afternoon lunch date. I've decided it's time to start building my night time shoe collection.

When shopping for heels, it's important to opt for three things:

  1. A hidden platform to alleviate potential pain from a four inch heel - limping is never cute
  2. Something simple enough to mix and match with multiple looks, but must have enough  detailing to surpass my wear-to-work pumps
  3. Something affordable. I'm always willing to invest in a great pair of designer boots but not willing to make a long term investment into something trendy, that leaves me in pain and has a high probability of having a cocktail spilled on them
  4. It's doesn't hurt to also pick up a fantastic statement necklace to complete the look....when in Rome..... (see below)
