GREEN SMOOTHIE


I posted this picture on my Instagram account over the weekend and a few friends messaged me asking for the recipe so I thought I would share it with all of you. I drink this smoothie for breakfast before my workouts because it's filled with lots of goodness and enough protein to give me the energy I need for my day.

1/2 frozen banana
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 big handfuls of frozen spinach & kale
1 scoop protein (of your choice)
juice of 1/2 lemon

I've tried every green smoothie and juice out there and I tend to stick to this one because it doesn't call for any fancy ingredients and it isn't filled with tons of fruit/sugar.
